Jack Morrocco Scotland, 1953-Present

Recognised as one the leading Scottish painters, Jack Morrocco undertook his studies at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design in Dundee.   In 1973, he was selected to study at Hospitalfield House and was awarded a post graduate year of study in 1975 as well as the Farquhar Reid Travelling Scholarship which was spent in Paris and Florence. Upon graduation, Jack spent time as a free-lance illustrator, returning to painting full time in 1997.

Today, Jack works from his studio here in Fife, Scotland and has developed a powerful and unique style, which is distinctively his own; the dappled light across a French market square, the captivating reflections in his traditional still life paintings and his modern studio pieces.

Jack has worked with Fraser Gallery St Andrews for many, many years and has developed a strong following of collectors, showing successfully in Edinburgh, London and New York as well as several in the South of France.
