ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Marion Drummond was born Glasgow in 1958, and has lived in Scotland all her life.
Self-taught, she works mainly in oils enjoying the intensity of working with palette knives and her fingers in her still life, landscape and portraiture and likes to combine her love of hill-walking with painting al fresco, to capture life.

Drummond greatly admires the work of many living Scottish artists but her strongest influences are Stephen Carruthers, Jenny Saville and Enid Foote Watts and exhibits in a growing number of prestigious galleries across the UK.
